Retirement Planning Course

We invite you to enroll in our two-night retirement planning course. Your instructor, Dustin Burns, CPA, CFP®, CRPC, will provide valuable insights and training to support your retirement preparedness.  

This course takes place on the California State University at Fullerton (CSUF) campus.  Upon registration, you will receive additional information regarding parking and room location.

Included in this course are valuable materials that personalize your retirement planning. You will receive a financial inventory booklet and an 80-page workbook to assist you in your planning long after the course is completed. The course material fee is $49 per person and due the first night of class. We accept checks only.

Day 1

We will cover the Four Pillars of a Successful Retirement: Social Security, Income Strategy, Tax Planning, and Legacy Planning. We’ll also inform you on three main risks that can affect your retirement lifestyle: inflation, rising costs of health care, and unpredictability of the financial markets.

Day 2

We will take a careful look at tax planning to give you an understanding of the applicable tax rules that can help you avoid costly mistakes.  We’ll cover the 2019 marginal tax rates, long-term capital gains, qualified dividends, as well as how taxes affect retirement.
